Moving from hope to knowing

I heard the statement today, move from hope towards a knowing
I’ve mulled it over like a dog with a bone
I’m looking for what is beyond the word hope
Underneath it
What makes it
I’m investigating courage
I hadn’t given knowing a thought
But, it has heft
I read the quote below and liked it a lot
Maybe the space between the amazing and awful is a space that looks a lot like the space between hope and knowing
Maybe
It’s like the picture above
Black and white
Ordinary
And a space where the blue comes in
Amazing

“Life is amazing. And then it’s awful. And then it’s amazing again. And in between the amazing and awful it’s ordinary and mundane and routine. Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary. That’s just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life. And it’s breathtakingly beautiful. L.R. Knost “
